Equipping the family

We serve God in BYC to help adults and children in households uphold their faith in God and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness. This is in the hope of the eternal life, which God who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time and seen in the gospel of Jesus Christ (Titus 1:1-3).

We are committed to seeing the biblical teachings in Titus 2 evident in the family grassroot level. This includes teaching what is appropriate to sound doctrine, teaching men to be committed to gospel-centred leadership in the home; and women to be committed to their complementary roles in the home. We are also committed in teaching and promoting biblical principles for marriage and raising of godly children. We believe we must continuously maintain true reformation. By so doing, we will be conditioned in the gospel, authentic and able to shine the light of Christ to the world. We will therefore continue to play our part in building-up each other according to 1 Thessalonians 5:11 and 2 Corinthians 12:19.
